C1 · Insurance & Independent Provider
The Provider operates as an independent, self employed service provider and is not an employee or agent of the Client. The Provider carries liability insurance for her services / is in the process of arranging liability insurance for her services (circle one). The Client remains responsible for maintaining their own household and, where applicable, pet insurance.
C2 · Payment & Cancellation
Rates, deposit, and schedule are agreed in advance. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full. Payment is due as agreed at or before the end of service.
C3 · Access to Home
If the Provider is given a key, code, or access to the Client's home, it will be used only to perform the agreed service and kept secure. The Provider is not responsible for pre-existing issues in the home or for acts of third parties.
C4 · Privacy
Information the Client provides about their household, child, or pet is collected only to deliver the service and is kept confidential. It will not be shared except as needed for the care itself or in an emergency.
C5 · Photos & Media
The Client agrees / does not agree (circle one) to allow the Provider to take photos or short videos of the pet or child for the Client's own updates. Any use for Care With Dani promotion requires separate written consent.
C6 · Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This document is the entire agreement between the parties and replaces any prior verbal understanding. Changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
C7 · Notice & Accurate Information
The Client agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about their household, pet(s), and child(ren), and to notify the Provider promptly of any change in health, emergency contact, access, or care instructions.
C8 · Client Responsibility for Property Damage
The Client is responsible for any damage caused by their pet or child to the Provider's property, belongings, or the property of third parties while the Client's pet or child is under the Provider's care, unless the damage is caused directly by the Provider's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
C9 · Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Client's failure to disclose accurate information, the Client's pet's or child's conduct, or the Client's breach of this Agreement, except to the extent caused by the Provider's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
